Established in 1505, The oldest Surgical College in the world - The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh’s recent high profile visit to Vijayawada was featured in the Royal College’s website.
Prof. Michael Lavelle-Jones (President), Prof. Graham Layer & Prof. John Duncan (Vice Presidents) of the Royal College participated in a Symposium on ‘Challenges & opportunities for Surgical training in India and the UK’ that was convened by Dr. Raghu Ram.  
The Symposium was held during the Regional Refresher Course held by The Association of Surgeons of India that is aimed to prepare Surgical Trainees from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Orissa & Chhattisgarh for their final MS/ DNB exams.
