Dr Raghu Ram hosted the Intercollegiate final MRCS Examinations on behalf of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in Hyderabad on 19 and 20 January 2019. He was felicitated by eminent surgeons gathered from London and all over India for  having got elected to the most prestigious position of President of Association of Surgeons of India for the year 2020, which is the highest position that can be achieved by a surgeon practicing in India. Mr Andrew Fleming, British Deputy High Commissioner was a Guest of honour.
